A decade after the EDM boom, and a few years out of lockdown’s subdued haze, dance music reestablished its footing as a playground of experimentation. Stadiums and festivals filled with adventurous cross-pollinators like Jamie xx, John Summit, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, while underground clubs pulsed with sounds that defied easy categorization, courtesy of innovators like horsegiirL and Yanamaste.
